Welcome to one of Skåne’s largest flea markets – set in the rolling countryside of southern Sweden, family-run since 1973. Treasure hunters come from all over Skåne, but also from Copenhagen and northern Germany. Thousands of finds wait under one roof, surrounded by ancient beech forests and dramatic scenery. A genuine slice of Sweden, far from the tourist trail.
In the heart of exotic Skåne (Scania)
For visitors from the south, the Scanian landscape is a world of its own. Red timber barns mirror in glittering lakes, rolling fields meet dark beech woods, and at its heart rises Söderåsen – Skåne’s dramatic rift valley of ancient beech forest, steep scree slopes and babbling brooks. A landscape that feels both close and wonderfully foreign.
Our flea market sits right here, in Ask between Marieholm and Röstånga, at the foot of the national park. Combine your treasure hunt with a hike up to the Kopparhatten viewpoint, a gentle loop around the mirror-still Odensjön lake, or a Swedish fika (coffee break) in Skäralid. If you are lucky you will glimpse a hawfinch in the beech wood – a shy, unusual bird whose powerful beak cracks beech nuts – or hear a black woodpecker drumming on the old trunks. This is Sweden just as you imagine it.
Getting here – also from Copenhagen and Germany
We are easy to reach in the heart of Skåne, within range of both Scanian cities and travellers from across the Öresund:
- From Copenhagen: about an hour across the Öresund Bridge – a perfect day-trip into Sweden.
- From northern Germany: take the ferry (Rostock–Trelleborg or Puttgarden–Rødby) and drive on through beautiful Skåne – a natural stop on your Swedish road trip.
- From Lund: approx. 30 km (35 min) via road 108.
- From Malmö: approx. 45 km (45 min).
- From Helsingborg: approx. 40 km (40 min).
A treasure trove under one roof
Inside, room after room is filled with finds: clothing and vintage, furniture and lighting, books, vinyl, porcelain, glass, art and curiosities – all donated and lovingly priced. Because the stock changes from day to day, every visit is a new treasure hunt. Here Danes, Germans and Swedes hunt for bargains side by side, and the prices are kind to your wallet.

We actually have two large premises in the same complex in Ask – so there is plenty of room to browse the finds, room after room. And if you fancy a break, we have fika (coffee & cake) in the shop – settle in for a while between finds.
Food & Scanian cuisine nearby
Skåne (Scania) is sometimes called Sweden’s pantry – rolling fields, apple orchards and a rich culinary tradition. Be sure to taste the Scanian cuisine: creamy äggakaka (a thick baked egg cake) with fried pork and lingonberries, crispy potato pancakes, or the classic spit cake spettekaka with your coffee. In autumn the goose is celebrated with a traditional goose dinner. And thanks to Skåne’s fertile farmland, the vegetarian cuisine is every bit as wonderful – vegetables and local produce in season. Several of the restaurants below have excellent vegetarian options.

- Röstånga Gästgivaregård – a historic coaching inn with roots in the 1600s, serving traditional Scanian home cooking.
- Stationen Röstånga – a cosy restaurant in the old railway station building, with antiques, art and outdoor seating.
- Skäralids Restaurang – at the entrance to Söderåsen National Park, perfect after a hike in the beech forest.
